RCO100™ Fiber Friendly Recycling Technology
Swiss-engineered textile recycling that gently opens fiber from textile waste using Refine-Forward technology.
In 2016, Säntis Textiles designed and manufactured a textile recycling system through the lens of Swiss engineering, simplicity, and the goal of creating long staple fiber that is textile grade without using water or chemicals in the process.
With our Refine Forward fiber opening technology, RCO100™ manages textile waste through a Fiber Friendly philosophy that enables fibers to retain their original structure without significant degradation. The apex of natural ingenuity, quality and next-gen circular solutions — TODAY.

RCO100 Benefits: Low Impact & Circular
First mechanical recycling technology designed & engineered to produce textile grade fiber
Long Staple Fiber – GRS certified 100% recycled cotton yarns up to Ne 30/1 (Industry First!)
Single flow refinement giving fiber time to open (NO counter rotating in the process)
Waterless and chemical free processing
RCO100 recycled cotton is made from pre- and post- consumer textile waste
Scalable textile to textile recycling solution for a global circular economy
RCO100: The Machine
Santis Textiles has partnered with the industry’s best to manufacture the RCO100™ machine and operate the recycling line at scale. Swiss engineering firm engineered the machine components, and the first licensed machine manufacturer for RCO100™ is Turkish based manufacturing company Temsan. The first scaled lines are operated in collaboration with Kipas Textiles in Turkey, one of the biggest vertical textile companies in the EU.
